Micro Moves

A BOUTIQUE LAGREE STUDIO | 2026

About the Project

Micro Moves came to us as a brand-new Lagree studio preparing to launch in Dartmouth, Massachusetts, a market its founder saw as an emerging wellness hub. She had a clear sense of what she personally liked (and didn't like), but that vision was rooted in her own aesthetic preferences rather than the audience she needed to attract, and it overlapped closely with several competitors.

She also wasn't sure how the physical space itself should reflect the brand once clients walked through the door. Our job was to build a brand strategy, visual identity, and social media content strategy specific enough to stand apart from the local studios she was being compared to, grounded in who Micro Moves' ideal clients were and could all translate into the studio space itself.

The Strategy

Micro Moves needed a brand strategy that could ease two different kinds of intimidation: the unfamiliarity of Lagree itself for people who'd never tried it, and the overly aggressive culture that defines most traditional fitness spaces but doesn't reflect whom this studio was built for.

We developed a brand personality rooted in support, trust, and quiet confidence, expressed through beginner-friendly class formats, trained instructors, and a tone that feels warm and grounded rather than cold and clinical. That same strength builds gradually beneath the surface, showing up through client progress and self-trust rather than intensity alone, giving the brand a voice that's warm, knowledgeable, and energizing without ever tipping into something over-the-top.

The strategy was built for a specific audience: women who consider themselves fitness-aware but have felt out of place in traditional studios and gyms, whether the vibe skewed too advanced, the culture felt overly showy, or they simply lacked the confidence to keep going.

Micro Moves gives them a structured, sustainable way to move their bodies and build trust in a space, without chasing extreme transformation or comparing themselves to anyone else in the room.

The Look & Feel

As we began our competitor analysis, we found that most Lagree studios in the region and also nationally leaned into the same tan, neutral, minimalist look, or swung the opposite direction into something colder and more traditional-gym in feel. Even though this aesthetic was our client's personal preference, neither reflected who Micro Moves was for, so we built a brand identity around a bolder, more distinctive color palette.

We wanted to blend the neutral tones she liked with some bold pops of color, so we created a base of warm charcoal black and oat tan, added deep, moody tones like wine red and pine, and then softened those edges with light pink, lilac purple, and olive green tones. Paired with the refined logo design, we built a visual identity that feels casual enough for a first-timer and polished enough for a seasoned client.

That same balance carries through the rest of the brand's visual world: modern, high-contrast imagery paired with warmer, in-the-moment shots, tied together by a distinct sense of shape and structure that echoes the logo itself. On social, the content strategy leans into dynamic typography and layout choices that keep the feed feeling as energetic as the movement it represents, while the interior design brings the identity into physical space through natural materials, soft textures, and considered details that balance comfort with structure.

"Alluring Media Co brought my brand to life in a way that I didn't even think was possible. They understood exactly what I was looking for before I could even find the words to articulate it. Katie and her team were nothing but helpful, responsive, and understanding throughout this journey. I would refer Alluring Media to ANYONE/EVERYONE that needs help with their brand identity."

Final Outcomes

Micro Moves launched with a full logo suite, including a primary, secondary, and tertiary mark, basic brand guidelines, and a complete social media toolkit covering feed posts, story posts, highlight covers, stock photography, and templates built for her to use long after launch.

The results spoke for themselves. Micro Moves sold out its opening week and has consistently sold out classes since, growing from zero to 2,286 followers in its first three months. The studio also holds a five-star Google rating, with reviews consistently pointing to the same thing the brand was built to deliver: a space that feels beautiful, comfortable, and welcoming from the moment you walk in.

"Micro Moves is such a beautiful Lagree studio with an amazing vibe that instantly makes you feel comfortable and motivated the moment you walk in. The space is clean, modern, and calming, and it really sets the tone for a focused but uplifting workout." - Emilia on Google

"I've been to Micro Moves a couple of times now, and honestly I've had such a great experience each time. From the moment you walk in, the space just feels really welcoming and comfortable, which makes it so easy to relax and enjoy the class. All of the instructors have been amazing - super encouraging, attentive, and really good at making you feel confident no matter your level. You never feel out of place or intimidated, just supported the whole way through."
